The Mechanical Engineer controls and supervises the installation and safe operation of mechanical equipment in buildings, constructions or industries.

Examines the areas of the building or factory where the machinery will be installed. The engineering study calculates the positions and the way of placing and connecting the various machines and devices, their power, the points where the auxiliary installations of pipes and ducts will pass.

Draws up the specifications of the equipment and materials to be used, calculates the cost of labor and materials as well as the other costs of the construction, installation, operation and maintenance of the machinery.
